Ingredients
  

Tortilla Chips
  • 8 oz tortilla chips store-bought or homemade
Salsa
  • 4 medium tomatoes diced
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 jalapeño jalapeño pepper seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 lime lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp salt to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Salsa
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, minced jalapeño, and chopped cilantro.
  2. Add the lime juice and salt, then mix well to combine all ingredients.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Serve
  1. Arrange the tortilla chips on a serving dish.
  2. Serve the salsa alongside the chips for dipping.

Notes

For a milder salsa, remove the seeds from the jalapeño. You can also add diced avocado for extra creaminess.
