  • 3 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Coating
  • 12 oz. almond bark or white chocolate for coating

Method
 

Baking and Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together canola oil, sugar, buttermilk, egg white, food coloring, vanilla extract, and vinegar.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into baking molds and bake for 22 minutes.
  6. Allow the cake to cool completely before crumbling it into fine pieces.
  7. Mix in softened cream cheese until well combined.
  8. Form the mixture into small balls and place them in the refrigerator to set.
  9. Melt almond bark or white chocolate for coating.
  10. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  11. Insert sticks into the pops and let them set at room temperature.
