Ingredients
  

For the Trout
  • 4 fillets rainbow trout skin on
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for brushing
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon sliced for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
For the Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a bowl, mix together lemon juice, minced garlic, and dried thyme. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Marinate the Trout
  1. Place the trout fillets in the marinade and let them sit for at least 15 minutes.
Preheat the Grill
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and brush the grates with olive oil.
Grill the Trout
  1. Place the trout fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Serve
  1. Remove the trout from the grill, garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
