Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon fillets skin-on preferred
Marinade
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice about 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 lemon lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Marinate the Salmon
  1. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Preheat the Grill
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Grill the Salmon
  1. Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill.
  2. Grill for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Serve
  1. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For best results, use fresh salmon and allow it to marinate longer if time permits.
