Ingredients
  

Chicken Marinade
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Pineapple Sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks fresh or canned
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Method
 

Marinate the Chicken
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, pineapple juice, minced garlic, ground ginger, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare the Pineapple Sauce
  1. In a saucepan, combine pineapple chunks, brown sugar, cornstarch, water, and lime juice. Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens, stirring frequently.
Grill the Chicken
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  2. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Serve
  1. Serve the grilled chicken topped with the pineapple sauce. Enjoy!
