Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 1 cup orzo pasta uncooked
Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium lemon zested and juiced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
Herbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Method
 

Cook Orzo
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the orzo and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare Sauce
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
Combine
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked orzo, sauce, chopped parsley, chopped basil, and grated Parmesan cheese. Toss until well combined.
Serve
