Ingredients
  

Taco Filling
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 1 cup Refried Beans Optional
Taco Assembly
  • 8 count Taco Shells Hard or soft shells
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese Cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1 cup Lettuce Shredded
  • 1 cup Tomato Diced
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream For topping

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning and refried beans to the skillet, mixing well. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Place taco shells in a baking dish.
  2. Spoon the beef mixture into each taco shell.
  3. Top each taco with shredded cheese.
Bake and Serve
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and top with lettuce, diced tomato, and sour cream before serving.
