Ingredients
  

Shrimp Filling
  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 cup celery finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise for dressing
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon dill fresh or dried
Rolls
  • 4 pieces hot dog buns or lobster rolls
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded

Method
 

Prepare the Shrimp
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
Make the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cooled shrimp, celery, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and dill. Mix well.
  2. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble the Rolls
  1. Place shredded lettuce in each bun, then generously fill with shrimp mixture.
  2. Serve immediately on a platter.
