Ingredients
  

Tuna Salad
  • 2 cans Tuna drained
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise adjust to taste
  • 1 stalk Celery finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard optional
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
Sandwich Assembly
  • 8 slices Bread your choice (white, whole grain, etc.)
  • 4 leaves Lettuce for garnish
  • 1 tomato sliced optional

Method
 

Prepare Tuna Salad
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, chopped celery, red onion, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Mix well with a fork.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust mayonnaise if necessary for desired creaminess.
Assemble Sandwiches
  1. Lay out 4 slices of bread on a serving plate.
  2. Spread a generous amount of the tuna salad mixture on each slice of bread.
  3. Top with lettuce leaves and tomato slices if using, then cover with the remaining slices of bread.
  4. Cut sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
