Ingredients

Hawaiian Roll Sliders & Filling
  • 12 pack sweet Hawaiian dinner rolls sliced horizontally into top and bottom slabs
  • 1 lb carved roast turkey breast thinly sliced
  • 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese or sharp white cheddar
  • 3/4 cup whole berry cranberry sauce homemade or canned
Savory Dijon Poppyseed Butter Glaze
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls horizontally into halves without separating individual rolls, creating a top and bottom slab.
  3. Place the bottom roll slab into the prepared baking dish. Layer half the sharp cheddar cheese across the bottom bread slab to form a moisture barrier.
  4. Evenly arrange the carved roast turkey over the cheese base, then spoon and spread the whole berry cranberry sauce across the poultry.
  5. Top with remaining cheddar cheese slices and place the top roll slab over the filling.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, garlic powder, and salt. Pour or brush the glaze evenly over the slider tops and into crevices.
  7. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 12 minutes to melt the cheese thoroughly. Remove foil and bake an additional 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  8. Rest 5 minutes, slice along roll seams into 12 individual sliders, and serve warm with festive holiday sides!
